Charlotte (Charlie) Woodman joins Matatū from the UK where she played for the Exeter Chiefs. Woodman is a dazzlingly fast winger, capable of reaching speeds in excess of 34kph.

Woodman made her Matatū and Super Rugby Aupiki debut against the Hurricanes Poua in Wellington this season, coming on as a substitute.

The following week, Woodman earned her first start against the Chiefs Manawa in Hamilton, where she scored a breakaway try, leaving defenders in her wake and put in a performance that earned her The Bayleys Canterbury fan-voted Player of the Match.
