Plato announced as the official strategic creative partner for the Crusaders and Matatū

The Crusaders and Matatū are excited to announce Plato Creative have signed on as a strategic creative partner.

As Christchurch’s largest creative agency, Plato will deliver commercial creativity for both teams, pushing boundaries and strengthening connections with our fans and the wider community. They’ll work closely with the Crusaders and Matatū, delivering creative content, strategic initiatives, and digital solutions that reflect the spirit and strength of these teams.

For Plato, this partnership is far more than sponsorship – it’s about aligning with like-minded organisations that share the values, passion for excellence, and commitment to the local community they have been championing in their work for over 15 years.

“This partnership represents an amazing opportunity for both Plato and the Crusaders,” said Nick Harvey, Plato CEO.

“We share the same drive for success and community impact, and together, we’ll unlock incredible opportunities that go beyond the field.

“Our team is eager to leverage the Crusaders and Matatū’s strong brand presence to enhance our creative outputs while deepening our connection with the community.”

Colin Mansbridge, Crusaders CEO, said he was “delighted to welcome Plato to our whānau”.

“This partnership goes beyond sponsorship—it’s about working with a team that understands the importance of creativity, strategy, and the role these play in both sport and business. I’m excited to see how Plato will help bring our story to life in new and innovative ways.”

Sarah Munro, GM Matatū, said Plato was a “fantastic addition to the Matatū whānau”.

“We’re very pleased to welcome Plato Creative to the Matatū as our latest commercial partner. They have a fantastic reputation in telling South Island stories,” Munro said.

“As our place in women’s sport continues to grow and evolve, we’re looking forward to the part Plato Creative can play in helping people understand our Matatūtanga and what we represent.”

This partnership marks the start of great things for Plato and both the Crusaders and Matatū as they showcase what can be achieved when like-minded organisations come together to engage, inspire, and create a positive impact in the community.
